Disassemble
1. Pull rotor from rotor shaft.
2. Remove vacuum controller attaching screw, then the controller to breaker plate link and the vacuum controller, Fig. 19.
3. Remove igniter attaching screws, then the signal generator attaching screws and the signal generator and igniter assemblies.
4. Remove breaker plate attaching screws, then the breaker plate.
5. Remove governor springs.
6. Remove cap and signal rotor shaft attaching screw, then the signal rotor shaft.



Assemble
1. Install signal rotor shaft onto distributor shaft, then the signal rotor attaching screw and cap.
2. Install governor springs, then the breaker plate and breaker plate attaching screws.
3. Position signal generator/igniter assembly in distributor housing and install signal generator attaching screws. Do not tighten at this time.
4. Adjust signal generator air gap to .008-.015 inch, then tighten attaching screws.
5. Position signal generator in distributor housing, then install and tighten attaching screws.
6. Connect vacuum controller link to breaker plate, then install vacuum controller and attaching screw.
7. Install rotor.
