Hall Effect Pick-Up Assembly

HALL EFFECT PICK-UP ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (3.9L Engine)

REMOVAL

1. Remove distributor cap. See Distributor Removal and Installation 3.9L Engine.

Ignition Rotor Removal And Installation - 3.9L Engine:





2. Remove ignition rotor from distributor shaft.

Hall Effect Pick-Up Assembly Removal And Installation - 3.9L Engine:





3. Remove two hall effect pick-up attaching screws on opposite sides of the distributor housing and carefully lift the hall effect pick-up assembly from the distributor housing.


INSTALLATION

1. To reinstall hall effect pick-up assembly, follow the preceeding procedure in reverse order.
