Fluid Level Check

To check fluid level, apply parking brake and operate engine at idle speed. Move selector lever into each position ending in neutral position. A properly filled transmission should read near ``add one pint'' mark when fluid temperature is 70°F, and near but not over ``full'' mark at 180°F which is normal operating temperature. Add oil as necessary to bring fluid to proper level.
