Alternator: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove
alternator drive belt, then the alternator mounting bolts.
3.
Separate
alternator from mounting bracket and remove electrical connectors.
4.
Remove
alternator from vehicle.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque mounting bolts to 250 inch lbs.
