Window Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Move glass to down position and disconnect battery.
2. Remove trim panel.
3. Partially remove air and water shields to expose glass track access hole.
4. Support glass by hand while removing three lift plate to glass attachment nuts. Lower glass to bottom of door.
5. Remove lift plate to regulator screw.
6. Remove the three glass track mounting screws.

Glass Track Removal:

7. Remove glass track through access hole.

INSTALLATION
1. Install glass track through access hole.
2. Fasten glass track to door with three screws but do not tighten.
3. Fasten glass track lift plate to regulator with one M6 x 25 bolt.
4. Lift glass from door bottom and attach to lift plate with three nuts.
5. Move glass to up position, guiding glass as necessary to prevent binding.
6. Starting with center nut, tighten the three lift plate to glass attachment nuts to 10 Nm (85 in. lb.).
7. Tighten the three glass track mounting screws to 13 Nm (115 in. lb.).
8. Adjust inner glass stabilizers to lightly touch glass and tighten to 13 Nm (115 in. lb.).
9. Move glass to down position.
10. Install trim panel and all related items.
