Test 2 - Switch Plausibility Test

The Switch Plausibility Test monitors the Brake Light Switch (BLS), Travel Switch and Control Pressure Switch to test for proper sequence of operation.
Test Procedure:
1. Turn ignition to ON.
2. Slowly press brake pedal and observe LED sequence as brake is applied.

DESIRED RESULTS ACTION

LED's should go out in the following
sequence:
BLS-S2a-S1-S2b or S2a-BLS-S1-S2b Return to ABS Code Chart and follow
the recommended diagnostic procedure.
