Test 6 - Wheel Speed Sensor Test

The Wheel Speed Sensor Test checks the dynamic performance of the Wheel Speed Sensors.

Test Procedure:
1. Ignition ON.
2. Select Wheel to be tested at switch on Test 6 Panel.
3. Rotate wheel at one turn per second.


DESIRED RESULTS ACTION

A bright steady LED indicates good If LED does not light at all, inadequate
sensor output sensor output is indicated.
If LED flashes or blinks, erratic sensor
output is indicated. Return to Fault Code
Chart and follow recommended diagnostic
procedures
NOTE: A flickering LED may be caused by unsteady
or slow rotation of the wheel.
