All Federal models regardless of gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) must meet light duty cycle emission standards.

Vehicles built for sale in California and Canada having GVWR of 3855 kg [8,500 lb) or less must meet light duty cycle emission standards.

Vehicles built for sale in California and Canada having a GVWR of 3860 kg [8,501 lb] or more must conform to heavy duty cycle emission standards.

All new DODGE Ram/Cummins Turbo Diesels conform to heavy duty cycle emission standards.
