Emission Main Reminder Mileage Transfer ( Truck & Mini-Van )

Whenever a Truck or Mini-Van requires the replacement of the Engine Controller, the vehicle's mileage must be transferred from the odometer to a memory location within the replacement Engine Controller. This enables the new Controller to operate the EMR Lamp properly.

Follow these steps to transfer EMR mileage:

1. Use the DRBII to select "EMISSION EMR TEST"
Press Yes

2. Select test item "EMR MEMORY CHECK"
Press Yes

3. Display reads "EMR MEMORY CHECK ARE YOU SURE? YES,NO"
Press Yes

- "IS INSTRUMENT PANEL MILEAGE BETWEEN XXX AND XXXX?
Press Yes or No (If answer was yes then the test is complete)

- If no: "DO YOU WANT TO CORRECT EMR MILEAGE?"
- Press Yes

- Enter the mileage and press Enter

- DRBII will ask for verification of your entry

- If your entry was accurate.... "EMR MEMORY CHECK TEST COMPLETE"

Note: The Engine Controller updates mileage every 8 miles.
