Throttle Body Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Body Temperature Sensor:

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect negative battery cable.
3. Disconnect the 2-way throttle body temperature sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the sensor from the throttle body by unscrewing it.
5. Apply heat transfer compound (supplied with sensor) to tip of new sensor.
6. Install the sensor and torque to 110 lbs. in. (12 N-m).
7. Connect wiring connector to sensor.
8. Reconnect negative cable to battery.
9. Install air cleaner.
