Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Description and Operation
LOCATION
The ASD relay in located on the left inner fender panel in the engine compartment.
PURPOSE
The ASD relay in located on the left inner fender panel in the engine compartment. It provides battery voltage to the alternator field winding to provide regulation of the charging system. It is controlled by the electronic controller, which switches the ASD relay ground circuit on and off.
