Throttle Body Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair


Throttle Body Temperature Sensor - Removal/Installation:






REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner from engine.

2. Disconnect throttle body temperature sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove sensor.


INSTALLATION

1. Apply heat transfer compound (provided with new sensor) to tip of new sensor.

2. Install sensor. Tighten to 12 Nm (110 in. lbs.) torque.

3. Connect electrical connector to sensor.

4. Connect battery cable to battery.

5. Install air cleaner.
