Item One:
The 1991-1993 All Wheel Drive (AWD) AS-model vehicle fuel pump module, P/N 4740370, supersedes to fuel pump module P/N 4761646 AND wiring harness P/N 4688378. The 1991-1993 Front Wheel Drive (FWD) AS-model vehicle fuel pump module, P/N 4682260, supersedes to fuel pump module P/N 4682761 AND wiring harness P/N 4688376.
Item Two:
The illustrations on page 14-10 (Fig. 16 and Fig. 17), page 14-17 (Fig. 5 and Fig. 6) page 14-18 (Fig.10) and page 14-20 (Fig. 13) of the 1994 Town & Country, Caravan and Voyager Service Manual (Publication No. 81-370-4105) show the fuel pump module wiring connector incorrectly positioned. Refer to Figure 1, for the correct positioning of the fuel pump module wiring connector. Failure to have the connector properly positioned may cause a rattle condition. This item also applies when servicing 1991-1993 AS-model vehicles with the NEW fuel pumps and wiring harnesses described in Item One.
Item Three:
Disconnecting the wiring harness connector from the fuel pump module connector is described on page 14-17 of the 1994 Town & Country, Caravan and Voyager Service Manual (Publication No. 81-370-4105) in steps 5 and 6. The connectors are also illustrated in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. Additionally, it is necessary to push down on the end of the wiring harness connector retainer tab to be able to disconnect it from the fuel pump module, refer to Figure 2. This item also applies when servicing 1991-1993 AS-model vehicles with the NEW fuel pumps and wiring harnesses described in Item One.
