Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then battery positive cable.
2. Remove battery hold down clamp and heat shield, then lift battery out of vehicle and remove battery tray assembly mounting nuts and bolts.
3. Position tray aside to access servo electrical connector, then unplug connector and remove cable sleeve nuts.
4. Pull speed control cable aside to access hairpin clip, then remove clip and separate servo from mounting bracket.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque servo nuts to 50 inch lbs.
b. Torque battery tray mounting bolts and nuts to 11-12 ft. lbs. and battery hold down clamp bolt to 35 inch lbs.
