Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Label - Typical:

The Vehicle should have a Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label, permanently attached, under the hood (see Fig. 1). (This label cannot be removed without defacing information and destroying the label.)

The VECI label contains vehicle emission specifications and vacuum hose routings.

Use VECI label information whenever possible.

- Rout all vacuum hoses according to the VECI label, unless the label is missing or defaced.

- If the information in this reference differs from the VECI label, always refer to the VECI label.
