Coolant Temperature Sensor Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Drain approximately 2 quarts of coolant from the radiator drain plug.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the sensor with a suitable socket.

INSTALLATION
1. Apply sealant (Mopar part No. 4318034 or equivalent) to the threaded portion of the sensor.
2. Install the sensor and tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft.lbs) torque.
3. Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Refill the radiator and check for leaks.
