Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Label - Typical:





Vehicle should have a Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label, permanently attached, under the hood (see Fig. 1). (Label cannot be removed without defacing information and destroying label.)

The VECI label contains vehicle emission specifications and vacuum hose routings.

Use VECI label information, whenever possible.
- Route all vacuum hoses according to the VECI label, unless label is missing or defaced.
- If the information in this reference differs from the VECI label, always refer to the VECI label.
