EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
1.
Remove the
EGR Temperature Sensor.
2.
Place the
EGR temperature sensor in water, and measure the resistance between the sensor terminals while heating the water.
3.
Replace sensor if resistance is not within specifications.
4.
Install sensor, torque to
11 Nm (8 ft-lbs), and reconnect power.
