Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

LIFTGATE LOCK CYLINDER SWITCH
1. Remove inner trim panel from liftgate.
2. Disconnect door lock cylinder switch wire connector from liftgate harness and clip from liftgate inner panel.
3. Remove outside latch release handle.

Liftgate Cylinder Lock Switch:

4. Disconnect lock tab holding switch to back of lock cylinder and remove switch.
5. For installation, reverse the preceding operation.

LIFTGATE AJAR SWITCH
1. Remove liftgate latch from vehicle.
2. Disconnect wire connector from liftgate ajar switch.

Liftgate Ajar Switch:

3. Remove screw holding ajar switch to liftgate latch and remove switch.
4. For installation, reverse the preceding operation.
