Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove outside liftgate handle.

Lock Cylinder E-clip:

2. Remove E-clip holding arm to lock cylinder.
3. Disengage arm from handle.

Lock Cylinder Removal:

4. Disengage retainer holding lock cylinder to handle.
5. Pull lock cylinder from handle.

INSTALLATION
1. Install retainer into liftgate handle.

Lock Cylinder Installation:

2. Push lock cylinder into handle until retainer clicks.
3. Install lock cylinder arm.
4. Install outside liftgate handle.
5. Verify lock cylinder operation.
