Blower Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Glove Box:

1. Open glove box.
2. Disengage clip holding checkstraps to glove box door.
3. Pivot glove box downward and disengage hinge hooks from instrument panel.
4. Remove glove box.

Blower Motor Cover:

5. Remove (4) hex head screws to blower motor cover.
6. Disconnect blower motor wiring.

Wiring Grommet:

7. Remove grommet for wiring.

Feeding Wiring Through Housing:

8. Feed wiring through blower housing.

Blower Motor Screws:

9. Remove mounting screws for blower motor.
10. Allow the blower assembly to drop down, and remove assembly from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedure.
