Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the screws that secure the front of the heater-A/C housing cover to the housing.
3. Unplug the fin sensing cycling clutch switch wire harness connector.
4. Carefully lift the heater-A/C housing cover far enough to remove the switch probe from the evaporator coil fins.

INSTALLATION
1. Carefully insert the switch sensing probe into the same hole between the evaporator coil fins.
2. Position the switch wire harness grommet into the notch in the lower heater-A/C housing.
3. Install the housing cover screws.
4. Plug in the switch wire harness connector.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
