Power Window Switch: Testing and Inspection

Before you proceed with this diagnosis, confirm proper circuit breaker operation. See Circuit Breaker in the Diagnosis and Testing.
1. Remove the power window switch from the mirror flag bezel. See Power Window Switch Replacement. Carefully separate the wire harness connector from the switch body.

Left Side Switch Continuity:

Power Window Switch Continuity - Passenger Side:

2. Check the switch continuity in each position, as shown in the charts. If OK, see Power Window Motor in the Diagnosis and Testing. If not OK, replace the faulty power window switch unit.
