Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
For services of the Electronic Entry Module (EEM), refer to Vehicle Theft/Security System for Replacement procedures.

Refer to Power Door Locks, for replacement procedures.

Electronic Entry Module (EEM):

The electronic entry module is located on the driver's side of the center floor tunnel underneath the instrument panel.

REMOVAL
1. 5GDisconnect the battery jump start attachment.
2. 5GRemove left lower instrument panel cover.
3. 5GRemove knee blocker.
4. 5GRemove rubber retaining strap.
5. 5GDisconnect the three wire connectors.
6. 5GRemove module from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
