Intake Manifold

INTAKE MANIFOLD




Tighten the intake manifold mounting nuts using the following procedure:
- Step 1: Tighten right-bank nuts to 6.4 ± 1.4 Nm (56 ± 13 in. lbs.)
- Step 2: Tighten left-bank nuts to 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft. lbs.)
- Step 3: Tighten right-bank nuts to 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft. lbs.)
- Step 4: Tighten left-bank nuts to 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft. lbs.)
- Step 5: Tighten right-bank nuts to 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft. lbs.)





INTAKE MANIFOLD PLENUM
Tighten the intake manifold plenum bolts and nuts, starting at center and progressing outward in both directions, to 18 ± 2 Nm (13 ± 1 ft. lbs.)
