Rear Wheel Antilock System

NOTE: If the CAB needs to be replaced, the rear axle type and tire revolutions per mile must be programmed into the new CAB. For axle type refer to Transmission and Drivetrain, Differential. For tire revolutions per mile refer to Steering and Suspension, Tires, Wheels and Alignment. To program the CAB refer to Testing and Inspection, Procedures, Diagnostic Information and Procedures.

REMOVAL






1. Push the CAB harness connector lock to release the lock and remove the connector from the controller.
2. Remove the RWAL valve harness connector from the controller.
3. Remove the controller mounting screws and remove the controller from the mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the controller on the bracket.
2. Install the mounting screws and tighten to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
3. Install the RWAL valve harness connector into the controller.
4. Install the CAB harness connector into the controller and push down on the connector lock.
