Sliding Door Lock Cylinder

LOCK CYLINDER

REMOVAL

1. Remove the trim panel and the latch cover.

2. Disconnect the lock cylinder latch rod at the door front latch (Fig. 10).

3. Remove the lock cylinder clip and remove the lock cylinder from the door (Fig. 11).
4. Remove the lock cylinder latch rod from the original lock cylinder and attach it to the replacement lock cylinder.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the gasket. Position the lock cylinder in the door hole and guide cylinder into front latch access hole prior to installing retainer clip. Retain the lock cylinder with the clip.
2. Connect the lock cylinder latch rod to the front latch.
3. Test the door lock cylinder latch rod operation.
4. Install the latch cover and the trim panel.
