Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

The Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the front/side of intake manifold. If equipped with a this engine, removal/installation may be done from front of vehicle without removal of engine cover or air cleaner housing.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable at battery.
3. Disconnect electrical connector at sensor.
3. Remove sensor from intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Install sensor to intake manifold. Tighten to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) torque.
2. Install electrical connector.
3. Connect negative battery cable to battery.
