Radiator Support: Service and Repair

RADIATOR SUPPORT CROSSMEMBER

REMOVAL

1. Release hood latch and open hood.
2. Disconnect fasteners, wiring, radiator, refrigerant lines or condenser attached to radiator support crossmember.

3. Remove fasteners attaching radiator support crossmember to the lower frame (Fig. 6).
4. Remove bolts attaching radiator support cross-member to the upper rail.
5. Remove radiator support crossmember from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Place radiator support crossmember into position.
2. Install bolts attaching radiator support cross-member lower frame.
3. Install bolts attaching radiator support cross-member upper rail.
4. Connect fasteners, wiring, radiator, refrigerant lines or condenser attached to radiator support cross-member.
5. Ensure operation of all components disconnected.
