Checking Fluid Level

CHECKING FLUID LEVEL
The transmission fill plug is located on the left side of the transmission case.

The under body splash shield must be removed to gain access to the transmission fill plug.

To check the transmission fluid level, remove the fill plug from the transmission case. With the vehicle level, the fluid level should be at the bottom of the fill plug hole.

The fluid capacity of the transmission is 3.76 liters (4 quarts).

Located on the right side of the transmission tail housing is a transmission drain plug. This plug is used to drain the transmission fluid.
