Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Remove inner belt weatherstrip.
3. Remove door glass.
4. Disconnect wire connector from the power window motor.

5. Remove screws attaching window regulator to the inner door panel (Fig. 14).
6. Remove nut attaching window regulator to the bottom of the door.
7. Remove nuts attaching power window motor to the inner door panel.
8. Remove window regulator and motor from door.

INSTALLATION

1. Position window regulator and motor in door.
2. Install nuts attaching power window motor to the inner door panel.
3. Install nut attaching window regulator to the bottom of the door.
4. Install nut attaching window regulator to the bottom of the door.
5. Install door glass.
6. Connect wire connector to the power window motor.
7. Install inner belt weatherstrip.
8. Verify door glass operation. Adjust as necessary.
9. Install door trim panel.
