INTRODUCTION
These procedures include all of the specifications, instructions, and graphics needed to diagnose 45RFE/545RFE Electronic Automatic Transmission (EATX) problems, 233/244 Electronic Transfer Case problems. The diagnostics are based on the failure condition or symptom being present at the time of diagnosis.

When repairs are required, refer to the appropriate component for the proper removal and repair procedure.
