Sentry Key Identification Without Remote Keyless Entry (RKE).

DISCUSSION:
The transponder in the Sentry Key, on vehicles without RKE, used on 2004 RS/RG vehicles, is different from previous models. As a result these keys are not compatible with 2003 and earlier vehicles.
The new key will have a "taupe" (tan) over molded head and an "S" will be stamped on the key blade just below the head (Fig. 1). Previous keys were gray and without any stamping on the blade.
