Service Procedure
1.
Open the hood.
2.
Locate the engine oil filler cap on the valve cover (Figure 1).
3.
Remove the original oil filler cap by twisting it counterclockwise and lifting.
4.
Install the new cap into the valve cover opening and rotate it clockwise until the oil filler cap begins to ratchet.
