Recall 04V600000: Tire Valve Defect

SUMMARY:
On certain trucks equipped with a tire valve, TR600, on 16" tires, The valve can develop cracks within the rubber part or between the metal part and the rubber part of the valve stem.

CONSEQUENCE:
Such cracking may lead to a loss of air pressure at the valve stem, increasing the risk of a crash.

REMEDY:
Dealers will replace the tire valves on all Sprinter vehicles. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this campaign. Owners should contact DaimlerChrysler Manufacturing at 1-704-655-1000.
