Removal
REMOVALFigure 1 Downstream Oxygen Sensor 1.
Loosen clamp and disconnect the
muffler/resonator assembly from
catalytic converter pipe.
2.
Disconnect downstream oxygen sensor electrical connector (1) (Figure 1).

Remove
catalytic converter to
exhaust manifold attaching bolts (3).(Figure 2).
4.
Remove
catalytic converter (4) and gasket (Figure 2).
