Installation






INSTALLATION




1. Clean the upper left front cover sealing surface (1) to be sure it is free of oil and debris.
2. Apply Loctite 7200 or equivalent sealing compound to the left upper front cover sealing surface. Apply the compound in the form of a bead with a height and width of 1.0 mm (+0.5 mm). The cover must be installed within 10 minutes of applying the sealing compound.




3. Install the upper left front cover (1) and tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
4. Connect the intake camshaft position sensors (2).
5. Connect the exhaust camshaft position sensors (3).




6. Install the oil filter housing.




7. Install the intake air housing.




8. Install the remote battery ground.
