Removal
REMOVALThe
crankshaft position sensor is mounted in the rear of the engine block near the left front edge of the transmission bellhousing.
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Raise vehicle and support.
3.
Unlock and disconnect the
crankshaft position sensor harness connector (1).
4.
Remove the
crankshaft position sensor bolt (2).
5.
Remove the
crankshaft position sensor (3).
