Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Clean the left or the right intake manifold swirl flap position sensor mounting surfaces, and install a new gasket.
2. Install the left intake manifold swirl flap position sensor (5) or the right intake manifold swirl flap position sensor (6) from the intake manifold.
3. Install the left intake manifold swirl flap position sensor bolt (3) or the right intake manifold swirl flap position sensor bolt (4). Tighten to 6 Nm (53 in. lbs.).




4. Connect the left electrical connector (1) or the right electrical connector (2) to the left intake manifold swirl flap position sensor (5) or right intake manifold swirl flap position sensor (4).
5. Install the air filter housing.
6. Install the engine cover.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.
