Main Bearing Cap Torque And SequenceIf the bolts look like those in the image below, use the following specifications*
Step 1
15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Step 2
27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)
Step 3
an additional 45°
If the bolts DO NOT look like those in the image above, use the following specifications*
Step 1
15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Step 2
45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Step 3
an additional 45°
