Camshaft Position Sensor - Removal
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2.
Disconnect the electrical connector (4) at the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (1).
3.
Remove the CMP sensor mounting bolt (3).
4.
Using a rotating motion, carefully remove the CMP sensor from the timing chain cover (2).
5.
Check the condition of the sensor O-ring.
