REMOVAL-PICK UP MODELS





The EGR Temperature Sensor (1) is located on the intake manifold, below, and to the rear of the EGR valve (5).





1. If equipped, remove four cover bolts (2) and remove EGR crossover tube cover (1).




2. If equipped, remove EGR valve cover (2).




3. A pigtail wiring harness connects sensor to engine wiring harness.
4. Unscrew nut (2) at intake manifold.
5. Disconnect sensor pigtail harness electrical connector from engine wiring harness and remove sensor assembly.
