Installation







INSTALLATION

NOTE: Replacement of the O-ring seal is required anytime the A/C low pressure switch is removed. Failure to replace the rubber O-ring seal may result in a refrigerant system leak.





1. Lubricate a new O-ring seal with clean refrigerant oil and install it onto the accumulator fitting. Use only the specified O-ring as it is made of a special material for the R-134a system. Use only refrigerant oil of the type recommended for the A/C compressor in the vehicle.
2. Install the A/C low pressure switch (2) onto the A/C accumulator (3). Hand-tightened the switch securely.
3. Connect the wiring harness connector (1) to the A/C low pressure switch.
4. Install the right inner fender splash shield Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield - Installation.
5. Install the right front wheel Tires and Wheels - Installation.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
