DRAIN AND REFILL





1. Drive the vehicle until the differential lubricant is at the normal operating temperature.
2. With vehicle in neutral, position vehicle on hoist.
3. Remove differential cover and drain fluid from differential.
4. Apply a bead of Mopar Axle RTV or equivalent to the differential cover.

CAUTION: If cover is not installed within 5 minutes, cover must be cleaned and new sealant applied. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a leak.

5. Install differential cover and tighten bolts in a criss-cross pattern to 47 Nm (35 ft lbs).
6. Remove fill plug (1) and fill rear axle with 0.12 L (4 oz) of Mopar(R) Limited Slip Additive and 1.23 L (42 oz) Mopar(R) Synthetic 75W 140 Gear & Axle Lubricant or equivalent.
7. Install fill plug (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft lbs).
