Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection

POWER SEAT SWITCH

DRIVER





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat Power Seat Switch - Removal.
3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch. Refer to DRIVER POWER SEAT SWITCH table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK Testing and Inspection.

PASSENGER SEAT





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat Power Seat Switch - Removal.
3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch. Refer to PASSENGER POWER SEAT SWITCH CONTINUITY table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK Testing and Inspection.
