Variable Valve Timing Assembly - Installation






OIL CONTROL VALVE





1. Lubricate O-ring with clean engine oil.
2. Install oil control valve (1) in engine block (2).
3. Connect oil control valve (1) electrical connector.
4. Install retaining bolt and tighten to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).

CAUTION: Do not over tighten throttle body bolts, damage to throttle bodies could occur.

5. Install throttle bodies and tighten bolts to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
