Multifunction Switch - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open deck lid.
2. Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
4. Remove both upper and lower steering column shrouds.
5. Disconnect both posi-lock harness connectors (1 and 3) at the rear of the multi-function switch (2).





6. Remove multi-function switch mounting screws (2).
7. The windshield wiper/washer switch must be transferred to the new multi-function switch. Wiper/Washer Switch - Removal.
