Occupant Restraint Controller - Installation






INSTALLATION

WARNING: Do not install ORC if mounting location is deformed or damaged. This will cause the ORC to be improperly located. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.





1. Position the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) (2) into the vehicle and install the three mounting screws (1). Tighten the screws to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).





2. Reposition the sound deadening material (1) around the ORC.





3. Connect the two ORC electrical connectors (1 and 2).





4. Install the center floor console Floor Console - Installation.

WARNING: Do not connect the battery negative cable Component Tests and General Diagnostics . If the system test is not performed first it may result in serious or fatal injury.
