Washer Fluid Level Switch - Installation

INSTALLATION






1. Lubricate a new rubber grommet seal (6) with clean washer fluid and install it into the washer fluid level switch mounting hole in the washer reservoir (3). The pointer (1) on the seal should be pointed toward the top of the reservoir. Always use a new rubber grommet seal on the reservoir.

2. Position the barbed nipple of the washer fluid level switch (2) to the rubber grommet seal in the reservoir. The pointer (1) on the switch flange should be pointed toward the top of the reservoir and the flat (5) on the bottom of the switch flange should be horizontal.

3. Using hand pressure, press firmly and evenly on the washer fluid level switch until the barbed nipple is fully seated in the rubber grommet seal in the switch mounting hole of the reservoir.

4. Reinstall the washer reservoir into the vehicle. Service and Repair

5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
