Timing Component Alignment Marks: Locations
Timing Chain Alignment MarksCaution - Improper timing chain installation may cause severe engine damage, refer to Timing Chain Removal and Replacement for complete service procedure. Service and Repair Rotate the crankshaft two revolutions and verify the alignment of the timing marks (1, 2). If the timing marks do not line up, remove the camshaft sprocket and realign.
